Job summary

Monks is seeking a Content Creator (Copy) to develop social content and manage the daily local community across Instagram and TikTok, ensuring content resonates with Hilversum audiences.

You will craft ideas that demonstrate cultural relevance, use AI tools to create scripts and visuals, and collaborate with strategy, creative, and technology teams to deliver campaigns that meet brand objectives in real time.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven work experience as a social-first creative for an agency / brand.
• Experience developing social executions for brands.
• Basic experience using AI tools for scripts and visuals.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• A deep understanding of consumer behaviour, and adapting content plans to address the needs of the community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies in collaboration with strategy, creative and AI teams.
• Manage day-to-day social content across channels, adapting content for each platform.
• Develop a monthly social editorial calendar aligned with the content team.
• Create content in response to social trends.
• Ensure legal compliance of content (e.g. copyright and data protection).
• Present ideas to clients and colleagues and refine content based on feedback.
• Understand performance metrics to inform future creative development.
