Job summary

GoSpooky, Amsterdam-based social agency, seeks a Social Commerce Lead to own and scale our social commerce efforts—from TikTok Shop to live shopping. You will guide clients through innovative strategies, drive measurable results for global brands, and build a cutting‑edge team and proposition that keeps GoSpooky ahead of the curve.

You’ll lead cross‑functional collaboration with content and paid social teams, expand our network of creators and affiliates, and stay ahead of trends to deliver

Qualifications

• 5+ years in e‑commerce, social media or digital marketing with hands‑on social commerce experience.
• Proven ability to lead, scale teams and manage client relationships.
• Strong understanding of affiliate marketing, creator partnerships and live shopping.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of social commerce strategies across platforms (TikTok Shop, Instagram, YouTube).
• Identify trends, test approaches and optimize strategies for measurable client success.
• Build and mentor a team of social commerce experts and expand creator/affiliate networks.
• Oversee live shopping initiatives and represent the proposition to clients with clarity.
• Collaborate with creative and paid teams to align content and campaigns for results.

The Action

As Social Commerce Lead, you’ll own and scale our social commerce efforts. From TikTok Shop to live shopping and beyond, you’ll work at the intersection of content, creators, and commerce to drive real results for global brands. You’ll guide clients through innovative strategies, execute with precision, and build out a cutting-edge team and proposition that keeps GoSpooky ahead of the curve.

What you’ll do

• Lead the development and execution of high-performing social commerce strategies across platforms like TikTok Shop, Instagram, and YouTube,
• Identify trends, test new approaches, and optimize strategies to deliver measurable success for clients.
• Build and nurture a team of social commerce experts, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Expand and manage our network of creators and affiliates, growing an ecosystem that connects brands to the right audiences.
• Help run and oversee live shopping streams, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing audience engagement.
• Be the face of our social commerce proposition: present strategies, insights, and results to clients with confidence and clarity.
• Collaborate with our creative and paid social teams to align content and campaign strategies that drive results.
• Stay ahead of social commerce trends, sharing thought leadership and actionable insights both internally and with clients.
• Work closely with leadership to refine and scale our social commerce proposition, making GoSpooky the go-to agency for social-led shopping.

Who you are

• An experienced leader with 5+ years in e‑commerce, social media, or digital marketing, including hands‐on experience with social commerce platforms like TikTok Shop.
• A social commerce expert who knows the ins and outs of affiliate marketing, creator partnerships, and live shopping.
• A strategic thinker who can translate complex trends into actionable strategies that drive client success.
• A client whisperer with excellent communication skills, able to guide clients through new strategies and build lasting relationships.
• A builder who’s excited to create and scale a team, develop a proposition, and shape the future of social commerce at GoSpooky.
• A trendspotter passionate about staying ahead of the latest social platforms and commerce innovations.
• A hybrid talent willing to work in Amsterdam (relocation assistance available).
