GoSpooky in Amsterdam is seeking a Design Intern to join our design team and help bring social-first ideas to life through engaging visuals and creative concepts. The Role

As a Design Intern, you'll join our Design team and help bring social-first ideas to life through engaging visuals and creative concepts. You'll support the team across a variety of projects, from creating social media assets and presentation decks to developing concept sketches and livestream visuals. You'll report to Design Lead, with day-to-day mentoring from our Sr. Designer, and collaborate closely with designers, creatives and marketers including our Video Editor, Sr. Motion Designer and Brand Manager. This internship is a great opportunity to gain agency experience, contribute fresh ideas, and explore how AI is shaping the future of design.

What you'll do

• Create engaging social media designs for a variety of platforms and clients.
• Design presentation decks that clearly communicate creative ideas and campaign concepts.
• Develop concept sketches and visual explorations during the creative process.
• Design assets for livestreams and other digital-first productions.
• Support the team in brainstorming and developing creative concepts.
• Experiment with AI-powered design tools to enhance creative workflows.
• Collaborate with designers, creatives and marketers on a wide range of client and internal projects.

What we're looking for

• A third or final-year student in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Creative Media, Digital Design, or a similar creative programme.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (After Effects is a plus).
• Interest in AI-powered creative tools and emerging design technologies.
• A strong eye for design, typography, composition and visual storytelling.
• Curious, proactive and eager to contribute new ideas.
• Comfortable communicating in English.
• Based in the Netherlands and excited to work in a fast-paced creative agency.

Requirements

• You must be enrolled at a university or higher education institution within the EU.
• You hold a valid residence permit and have a Dutch BSN.
• You are based in the Netherlands.
• Available to come to our Amsterdam office.
• Available for a full-time, six-month internship.

The starting date of the internship will be as soon as possible. This is a six-month internship, with the potential to transition into a junior role. The remuneration package for the internship is €500 per month, based on full-time employment.
