Job summary

GoSpooky seeks a Video Production Intern to join our Design team in Amsterdam. You’ll edit social-first video content, support projects end-to-end, and craft motion graphics while experimenting with AI-powered tools. This six-month full-time internship offers hands-on learning in a fast-paced creative agency.

You’ll report to the Design Lead, collaborate with the senior motion designer and broader teams, and gain valuable experience in content creation for global brands.

Video Production Intern

As a Video Production Intern, you'll become part of our Design team and gain hands‑on experience creating social‑first video content for some of the world's most exciting brands. You'll support the team by editing videos, creating motion graphics, experimenting with AI‑powered video tools, and taking ownership of smaller creative projects from concept to delivery.

You’ll report to the Design Lead, work closely with the Senior Motion Designer as your day‑to‑day mentor, and collaborate with the wider Design and Creative teams. This internship offers the opportunity to develop your technical skills while learning how a fast‑paced social agency operates and creates content at scale.

The starting date of the internship will be as soon as possible. This is a six‑month internship, with the potential to transition into a junior role. The remuneration package for the internship is €500 per month, based on full‑time employment.

What you’ll do

• Edit engaging social‑first video content for a variety of platforms.
• Support the team by owning smaller video projects from start to finish.
• Create motion graphics and animations to elevate creative assets.
• Explore and apply AI‑powered video tools to improve creative workflows.
• Assist with creating content for GoSpooky's own social media channels.
• Collaborate with designers, creatives and video specialists on client work.
• Continuously develop your editing skills while receiving guidance and feedback from experienced team members.

What we’re looking for

• A third or final‑year student in Video, Motion Design, Creative Media, Film, Audiovisual Design, or a similar creative programme.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI‑powered video tools and emerging creative technology.
• A creative mindset with a strong eye for storytelling and visual detail.
• Eager to learn, take initiative and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Comfortable communicating in English.
• Based in the Netherlands and excited to gain experience in a fast‑paced creative agency.

Requirements

• You must be enrolled at a university or higher education institution within the EU.
• You hold a valid residence permit and have a Dutch BSN.
• You are based in the Netherlands.
• Available to come to our Amsterdam office.
• Available for a full‑time, six‑month internship.
