Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Consultant – Smart Grid Operations in Amsterdam to bridge power engineering with digital transformation. You will modernize control room operations, implement SCADA/DERMS, and drive data-driven decisions to improve reliability and flexibility of energy networks.

You will contribute to the energy transition by integrating renewables and enhancing grid performance while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, energy, or related field.
• Experience in utilities, energy, OT, smart grids, power systems or related domains.
• Experience supporting digital transformation, operational improvement, or technology implementation projects.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Transform grid operations through digital innovation by modernizing control rooms and operations.
• Deliver smart grid solutions including SCADA, OT infrastructure, DERMS and related platforms.
• Bridge engineering and digital technology to translate operational challenges into practical solutions.
• Enable data-driven decision making by leveraging system data for insights and situational awareness.
• Support energy transition by integrating renewables, managing congestion, and increasing network flexibility.
• Collaborate with clients and teams, develop consulting and leadership capabilities.
