Job summary

Drees & Sommer Netherlands is seeking an experienced logistics professional to manage construction site warehouses for a demanding semiconductor project. You will oversee goods receipt, storage, picking and dispatch, and ensure smooth material flows between warehouse, site and subcontractors on site in the EU region.

The role requires several years in warehouse or logistics management on large construction projects, fluency in English, and willingness to travel within Europe.

Qualifications

• Vocational training or degree in logistics, construction management, industrial engineering or comparable.
• Several years of experience in warehouse or logistics management on large construction or industrial projects.
• Proven experience managing material flows on construction sites or in project-relayed logistics environments.
• Structured, solution-oriented approach with strong coordination skills.
• Confident use of IT systems (ERP, warehouse management systems).
• Fluency in spoken and written English; proficiency in German, Dutch, or French is a strong advantage.
• Full willingness to travel for project-related work within Germany and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Setup, organization, and operation of construction site warehouses (goods receipt, storage, picking, dispatch).
• Ensure efficient material flows between warehouse, construction site, and subcontractors.
• Manage and monitor deliveries, inventory levels, and storage capacities with project schedules in mind.
• Coordinate logistics service providers, suppliers, and internal project stakeholders.
• Implement processes, quality, and safety standards in warehouse operations (including occupational safety).
• Support material and inventory controlling and document deliveries and consumption.
