Doghouse Recruitment is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for OpenShift platforms in Utrecht to stabilize and scale in-house environments. You will own monitoring, automation, and incident response, ensuring reliable services for multiple internal teams.
The role involves managing OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters, building CI/CD pipelines with Terraform and Ansible, and collaborating across Azure or AWS to improve security and compliance. Hybrid work is offered.
Do you want to build stable and scalable OpenShift platforms that are used daily by multiple in-house teams? And does it sound interesting to be involved from the design phase, while also supporting developers once the platform is live?
My client is one of the largest Managed Services providers in the Netherlands. Within the Platform Services team, you will work as an OpenShift Engineer on improving, expanding, and – where needed – implementing new platform environments. As SRE, you own the stability and automation layer beneath the software teams. You'll design and maintain monitoring and alerting pipelines, manage container workloads on Kubernetes or OpenShift, build and extend CI/CD pipelines using Terraform or Ansible, and work across cloud (Azure or AWS) to harden security and compliance posture. When incidents hit, you're in the room — root cause analysis, automated recovery scripting, and permanent fixes.
A salary up to €100K annually, permanent contract, hybrid working setup, bonus scheme, and a lease car or full public transport reimbursement.
