Job summary

DataSnipper is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Cloud Platform team. You will design robust cloud infrastructure, automate pipelines, and implement monitoring to drive reliability and scale.

You’ll own critical components spanning cloud engineering, DevOps, and platform reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to accelerate delivery. Your role includes incident response, RCA, on-call participation, and embedding observability into the development

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Azure services and Terraform.
• 2–4 years of experience in site reliability, DevOps, or cloud infra engineering.
• Proficient with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab).
• Strong understanding of networking, distributed systems and cloud security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and improve cloud infrastructure reliability, availability and performance.
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed reliability and observability into development lifecycle.
• Define and track SLIs and SLOs for owned services.
• Document runbooks, postmortems, and architecture decisions.

• We are looking for a skilled and passionate Site Reliability Engineer to join the Cloud Platform team, which empowers DataSnipper’s growth through a secure and scalable enterprise cloud platform.
• As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you won’t just maintain systems you’ll architect robust solutions that push the boundaries of cloud infrastructure, automation, and user management
• This is your chance to own critical components at the intersection of cloud engineering, DevOps, and platform reliability - working hand-in-hand with talented cross-functional teams to accelerate delivery, automate complex pipelines, and implement cutting-edge monitoring and scaling strategies
• Monitor, maintain, and improve DataSnipper’s cloud infrastructure reliability, availability, and performance
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures to reduce recurrence
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and infrastructure-as-code solutions
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to embed reliability and observability practices into the development lifecycle
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (and Azure), including containerized workloads
• Contribute to on-call rotation and incident response processes
• Document operational runbooks, incident postmortems, and infrastructure architecture decisions
• Define and track service-level indicators (SLIs) and service-level objectives (SLOs) for owned services

• Hands-on experience with Azure services: Container Apps, Key Vault, Front Door, Terraform
• Works independently on defined infrastructure responsibilities and escalates complex issues appropriately
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms (Grafana, Datadog, or similar)
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or similar)
• 2-4 years of experience in a site reliability, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure engineering role
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
• Strong understanding of networking, distributed systems, and cloud security fundamentals
