Job summary

DataSnipper is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Cloud Platform team in Amsterdam. You will design and scale our enterprise cloud platform, driving reliability, automation, and efficient delivery across cross-functional teams.

You will own monitoring, incident response, and CI/CD pipelines while shaping infrastructure as code and observability practices. This role blends cloud engineering, DevOps, and platform reliability at scale.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a site reliability, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure role.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure services: Container Apps, Key Vault, Front Door, Terraform.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
• Strong understanding of networking, distributed systems, and cloud security fundamentals.
• Works independently on defined infrastructure responsibilities and escalates complex issues appropriately.
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms (Grafana, Datadog, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure reliability and performance.
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed reliability practices in the development lifecycle.
• Manage and optimize cloud infra on AWS/Azure, including containers.
• Contribute to on‑call rotation and incident response processes.
• Document runbooks, postmortems, and architecture decisions.
• Define and track SLIs and SLOs for owned services.
