Job summary

DataSnipper seeks a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team. You will design and build core platform systems powering authentication, authorization, and access across the product, while shaping the architecture and enabling other teams to build on top of it.

You will own architecture decisions for backend services, collaborate across teams to enable identity flows, and ensure reliability, performance, and security. On-call rotation is part of the role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong testing methodologies.
• Strong communication across stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices.
• Experience with system design and architecture.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with container services (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in Identity & Access Management is a plus.

• In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and building core platform systems that power authentication, authorization, and access across our entire product. You’ll play a key role in shaping the architecture of our platform and enabling other teams to build on top of it

• Own and drive architecture decisions for backend systems
• Work across teams to enable identity and access flows across the platform

• Handle ambiguous, high-level problems and turn them into structured solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate technical decisions and risks clearly
• Participate in an on-call rotation (second line after tech support)
