DataSnipper seeks a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team. You will design and build core platform systems powering authentication, authorization, and access across the product, while shaping the architecture and enabling other teams to build on top of it.
You will own architecture decisions for backend services, collaborate across teams to enable identity flows, and ensure reliability, performance, and security. On-call rotation is part of the role.
7+ years of backend development experience (C#, Java, Python, TypeScript, etc.)Wealth of experience around testing and various methodologiesStrong communication skills and ability to work across multiple stakeholdersProven track record of building scalable, reliable systemsStrong experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)Proficiency with AI-assisted development toolsBias to action and sense of ownershipExperience with system design and architectureAbility to work independently on complex and ambiguous problemsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practicesExperience with Identity & Access Management systemsStrong understanding of security and authorization modelsExperience with microservices architectureFamiliarity with container services (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)Experience working in platform teamsExperience working in startups or scaleups
