Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Building Services Coordinator in the Breda region to help establish and maintain the new site in Rijsbergen. You will coordinate maintenance with vendors and internal teams, ensuring safe, compliant operations and reliable facilities.

The role emphasizes ownership, problem-solving and process improvements with growth opportunities through GXO University and coaching. Excellent English is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• MBO 4 or HBO in Facility Management or similar background.
• Experience in facilities, building maintenance, property management, technical services or a similar environment.
• Technical understanding (HVAC or electrical is a plus).
• Strong communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus.
• Familiarity with Lean or continuous improvement methods is helpful.
• A hands-on mindset and the ability to balance multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Keep the site running smoothly by coordinating daily and planned maintenance
• Work closely with trusted vendors to ensure equipment and facilities stay reliable and safe
• Monitor performance and take action when improvements are needed
• Keep records sharp and up to date, from maintenance logs to compliance documentation
• Be the go-to person for internal teams when it comes to facilities support
• Ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards are always met
• Spot opportunities to improve processes and help implement better ways of working
• Support sustainability initiatives across the site
