Job summary

GXO Logistics in Veenendaal, Netherlands, is seeking an experienced Site Controller to join our finance team. You will work closely with the Site Manager, providing financial guidance and supporting strategic decision-making within a dynamic, international environment.

The role focuses on acting as a finance business partner, leading month-end and year-end closings, managing the full P&L, and driving budgeting and forecasting with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in finance and/or controlling.
• Experience in 3PL or logistics environment is mandatory.
• Experience working with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a finance business partner, advising site leadership on financial matters and collaborating with cross-functional international teams.
• Leading month-end and year-end closing procedures, managing the full P&L, and overseeing local accounting functions.
• Leading the budgeting process as well as weekly and monthly forecasting, taking corrective actions when required.
• Developing and maintaining robust internal control systems to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
• Creating sales invoices for completed services and discussing them with site managers and customers.

• Fluency in English, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
