Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Roermond is seeking a Site Controller to partner with the Site Manager on financial guidance and strategic decision-making. The role involves supporting cross-functional teams to improve financial outcomes and steer performance.

You will lead month-end and year-end closes, manage the local P&L, drive budgeting and forecasting, strengthen internal controls, and oversee invoicing with the site manager and customers. Fluent English is required and there is a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, or related field
• Experience in finance and/or controlling
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Fluency in English
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as finance business partner to site leadership and cross-functional teams to identify cost drivers and improve financial outcomes
• Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures and manage the local P&L
• Lead budgeting process and monthly forecasting with corrective actions as needed
• Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to ensure financial compliance and accuracy
• Create and discuss sales invoices for completed services with site manager and customer

How you'll make an impact

• Acting as a finance business partner, advising site leadership and managers on financial and controlling matters while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to identify cost drivers and improve financial outcomes.
• Leading month‑end and year‑end closing procedures, managing the full P&L, and overseeing local accounting functions.
• Leading the budgeting process as well as monthly forecasting, taking corrective actions when required.

• Creating sales invoices for completed services and discussing them with site manager and customer.
