Job summary

Manpower in Venlo is looking for a Shift Supervisor to lead a production team and oversee daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will play a key role in achieving safety, quality and performance targets.

You will join a large international production environment with a focus on operational excellence, teamwork, ownership and continuous improvement. The role offers a direct contract with the employer and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Shift Supervisor or Team Leader in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Experience leading teams of 20 or more employees.
• Strong understanding of production processes and operational KPIs.
• Experience managing safety, quality, delivery and cost performance.
• Excellent command of the English language (mandatory).
• Hands-on mentality and structured way of working.
• Experience within manufacturing, process industries or large-scale logistics operations.
• Knowledge of Dutch, German or Polish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of approximately 20 to 25 operators, increasing to 40 to 45 employees during peak periods.
• Monitoring daily production performance and achieving operational targets.
• Managing KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Identifying operational disruptions and taking immediate corrective action.
• Coordinating multiple interconnected production processes.
• Providing structure, coaching and clear communication on the shop floor.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
