Job summary

Vitacress Real in Venlo seeks a seasoned Shift Leader Production to coach and lead the production team, ensuring smooth operation of lines, timely orders and high quality.

You will onboard, coach and train Line Leaders, Operators and Production Workers, monitor staff planning and drive continuous improvement through Kaizen and 5S, while collaborating with Technical Services and Logistics.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a production team in a food environment.
• Proven coaching and training skills.
• Strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Onboard, coach, develop and train Line Leaders, Operators and Production Workers.
• Check staff planning for production lines daily.
• Monitor health and safety rules on the shop floor.
• Drive continuous improvement via Kaizen/Scrum projects.
• Implement and monitor 5S on the packing department and act as ambassador.
• Lead daily whiteboard meetings and ensure orders are prepared on time.
• Maintain effective communication between production and office (top-down and bottom-up).
• Report technical deviations and liaise with Technical Services.
• Maintain a strong focus on product quality for packs and raw materials.
• Work in two shifts and monitor overall production processes and performance.
