Job summary

Applegreen, a global travel plaza brand, is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations at our Amsterdam plaza. You will supervise team members, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety while managing cash handling and POS procedures.

Responsibilities include opening/closing tasks, training new staff, stocking, food prep supervision, cross-selling, and maintaining product knowledge; you will report observations to plaza leadership and ensure

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) system and process payments following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, stocking, dating, labeling, and temperature checks.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products; maintain product knowledge.
• Train new team members and enforce brand standards and food safety requirements.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or issues and perform additional tasks as needed.
