Job summary

Vitacress Real seeks a proactive Shift Leader QC to guide and develop the quality control team in our Venlo facility. You will oversee day-to-day QC operations, ensure training, and push for continuous improvement across production and supply chain functions.

You’ll work in a dynamic environment with a strong focus on PDCA, 5S, GMP compliance and cross-department collaboration to deliver consistent product quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a quality team, preferably in a dynamic food production environment.
• Good cross-department collaboration and communication skills.
• English language level B1 or higher.
• Willingness to work across shifts, including weekend coverage if required.
• Strong structured, organized, and proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Controllers across one of two shifts and ensure training is provided.
• Develop the team and empower members to make independent, good-quality decisions.
• Oversee correct execution of QC processes (incoming, outgoing checks, shelf-life testing).
• Identify root causes for quality issues and propose improvements to Production, Supply Chain or Sales.
• Monitor daily QC planning and contribute to weekly Production and Supply Chain planning.
• Maintain close coordination with QC Coordinator and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with PDCA, 5S and GMP audits; identify hazards and drive safety.
