Job summary

Lamme Textile Management B.V. on Schiphol is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the production floor, coordinating tasks and supervising captains, staff and drivers to keep production on schedule and maintain quality.

You will lead with a calm, organized approach, address bottlenecks, uphold health and safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement while staying hands-on when needed.

Qualifications

• MBO-level vocational qualification or equivalent and around five years of experience in a production environment.
• You can switch between tasks easily, set priorities and stay calm under pressure.
• You have technical aptitude and can resolve minor malfunctions independently.
• You speak Dutch and English well.
• You are familiar with Lean principles or willing to learn more about them.
• You are responsible, flexible and results-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and allocating tasks on the production floor to ensure production meets schedules and quality standards.
• Leading captains, production staff and drivers, helping them perform at their best.
• Monitoring progress, identifying bottlenecks and taking corrective action when needed.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, hygiene and environmental regulations.
• Identifying malfunctions and resolving minor technical issues yourself, or contacting the technical service team in good time.
• Actively contributing ideas for process improvements and motivating the team to keep developing.
• Regularly getting hands‑on and helping with production whenever necessary.

Then this could be your next step! We are looking for a dedicated Shift Leader to join our team at Schiphol.

What will you do?

As Shift Leader, you are the main point of contact and driving force on our production floor. You ensure that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and allocating tasks on the production floor to ensure production meets schedules and quality standards.
• Leading captains, production staff and drivers, helping them perform at their best.
• Monitoring progress, identifying bottlenecks and taking corrective action when needed.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, hygiene and environmental regulations.
• Identifying malfunctions and resolving minor technical issues yourself, or contacting the technical service team in good time.

• An attractive salary of €3,486 to €4,200 per month (based on 40 hours per week).
• Day shifts.
• A fixed annual bonus of 5.33%.
• 25 days of annual leave (based on 40 hours per week) and 8.33% holiday pay.
• A solid pension scheme, with Lamme paying two‑thirds of the pension contribution.
