Job summary

Proactive Global in Zaandam, Netherlands is seeking a Shiftleader Preventive Maintenance to lead a skilled maintenance team in a highly automated logistics environment. Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of 8 Preventive Maintenance Technicians.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance across a 5/16 shift system.
• Plan and monitor maintenance activities using Maximo.
• Coordinate with Operations, Corrective Maintenance and Engineering teams.
• Ensure maintenance work is carried out safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Identify and implement improvements to maintenance processes, reliability and efficiency.
• Act as technical point of contact for the maintenance team.
• Contribute to continued development of preventive and corrective maintenance processes.

We are supporting a major global leader in warehouse automation and intelligent logistics systems on an opportunity within one of the Netherlands' largest and most advanced fully automated distribution environments.

We are looking for an experienced Shiftleader Preventive Maintenance to lead maintenance operations and a team of skilled technicians, ensuring the availability, reliability and performance of highly automated logistics equipment.

Your responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of 8 Preventive Maintenance Technicians
• Coordinate and oversee preventive maintenance activities across a 5/16 shift system
• Plan and monitor maintenance activities using Maximo
• Coordinate closely with Operations, Corrective Maintenance and Engineering teams
• Ensure maintenance work is carried out safely, efficiently and according to schedule
• Identify and implement improvements to maintenance processes, reliability and efficiency
• Act as a technical point of contact and provide guidance to the maintenance team
• Contribute to the continued development of preventive and corrective maintenance processes

What we're looking for

• MBO-level education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering or a similar technical discipline
• Previous experience in a technical leadership or supervisory role
• Experience within a logistics, industrial, manufacturing or highly automated environment
• Good understanding of maintenance processes, planning and work preparation
• Strong communication and people leadership skills
• A proactive, hands-on leadership style
• Strong focus on safety, reliability and continuous improvement
• Fluent Dutch and good English
