Job summary

Resolvo Engineering is seeking a High-Tech Maintenance Technician to keep automated warehouse and logistics systems running safely and reliably in Noord-Holland, Netherlands.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot motors, sensors and PLC-controlled equipment, and contribute to improving machine reliability. English communication and a hands-on attitude are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• MBO qualification in Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Good English communication and willingness to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical breakdowns
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance
• Troubleshooting motors, sensors, drives and automation systems
• Maintaining conveyor, sorting and automated handling systems
• Working with PLC-controlled equipment
• Identifying the root cause of technical failures
• Performing inspections, adjustments and component replacements
• Supporting improvements to machine reliability and performance
• Working closely with engineers and fellow technicians to solve complex technical problems
• Contributing to continuous improvement within the maintenance team

You'll work in a highly automated environment with a wide range of advanced systems, including:

• High-speed conveyor and sorting systems
• Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS)

You'll be constantly learning, troubleshooting and improving your technical skills.

What will you do?

As a High-Tech Maintenance Technician, you'll help keep the entire automated operation running safely, reliably and efficiently.

Your responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical breakdowns
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance
• Troubleshooting motors, sensors, drives and automation systems
• Maintaining conveyor, sorting and automated handling systems
• Working with PLC-controlled equipment
• Identifying the root cause of technical failures

No two shifts are exactly the same. One moment you could be troubleshooting a sensor or drive, and the next you're working on a complex mechanical or automation issue.

Who are we looking for?

You don't need to know every system from day one.

We're looking for technicians with a strong technical foundation, a hands‑on mentality and a genuine interest in automation and technology.

You have:

• Minimum MBO qualification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or a similar technical field
• Experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
• Experience in automation, logistics, manufacturing or an industrial environment is an advantage
• The ability to read electrical and/or mechanical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• A proactive and hands‑on approach
• Good English communication skills
• Willingness to work in shifts
