TXM Recruit is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Bleiswijk, Netherlands, to maintain automated distribution centre machinery both mechanically and electrically. The role involves preventative maintenance and rapid breakdown response to keep operations running smoothly.

The position requires EQF Level 4 in mechanical/electrical/automation engineering, experience with PLCs and sensors, and English proficiency. A 3-shift pattern with a 32% shift allowance and travel benefits are offered.

Formación

• EQF Level 4 in mechanical/electrical/automation engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, inverters and control panels.
• Electrical bias with ability to work on hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Experience in automated warehousing or FMCG environments is advantageous.
• English language ability sufficient for written and spoken communication.

Responsabilidades

• Perform planned maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems across site.
• Respond to breakdowns and analyse downtime to implement timely fixes.
• Work on autonomous conveyance systems, storage/retrieval, and sortation equipment.
• Fault-find PLCs, sensors, drives, motors and control panels; read schematics.
• Read assembly drawings; service hydraulics and pneumatics; maintain machinery.
• Strip, overhaul and rebuild machinery to optimise performance.

3960€ - 5544€ gross per month (inclusive of 32% shift allowance)

An exciting opportunity to join a leading worldwide company, who are at the forefront of automated warehousing solutions.

This role will be working in a state of the art, automated distribution centre maintaining automated machinery both mechanically and electrically, completing preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns in a timely manner.

We are searching for electrically bias maintenance technician's to join the team on a rotating shift basis, completing maintenance on autonomous machinery both mechanically and electrically.

Shifts

• 3 shift pattern (2, 2, 2, 4 schedule)
• 2 mornings, 2 afternoons, 2 nights, 4 off

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

• Completion of allocated planned maintenance across site, both electrical and mechanical.
• Respond to and analyse unscheduled downtime, with the ability to correct faults within a timely manner.
• Working both mechanically and electrically on autonomous conveyor systems, storage retrieval systems, sortation equipment with associated electrical controls and any hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Electrically you will have responsibility for fault finding on PLC systems, including working on sensors, drives, inverters, motors, control panels and associated control systems along with blueprint/schematic reading.
• Mechanically, you will have responsibility for reading and interpreting assembly drawings, hydraulic & pneumatic work, working across belts, gearboxes, and chains.
• Involvement in the ongoing care of machinery including strip, overhaul and rebuild of the machinery to optimise performance.

Experience & requirements for the role

• EQF Level 4 in mechanical/electrical/automation engineering as a minimum.
• Worked on PLC systems, sensors, motors, inverters, control panels, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes previously.
• Electrical bias.
• Previously worked with electrical currents, AC/DC drives, and up to 120v.
• Worked within a fast paced, high-volume environment previously – FMCG, automated warehousing, food production, packaging or pharmaceuticals would be an advantageous transfer.
• At least 1 years' experience in a Maintenance Technician/Maintenance Engineer/Electrician role within an automated environment.
• Eligibility to work in the Netherlands without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to speak and write in English.
