Unknown Retailer in the Netherlands is seeking a ServiceNow Solution Architect to own the platform's architecture and roadmap. You translate business requirements into scalable, value-driven technical solutions across ITSM, CSM and CMDB, delivering measurable improvements in service quality.

You will lead design, governance and integration with third-party systems such as Azure AD, Jira and SCCM, while mentoring the team and driving continuous improvement in a fast-growing IT organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years IT experience including 4+ years in ServiceNow platform architecture and development.

Centralized teams for Enterprise Architecture, IT Project & Portfolio Management, Development & Operations and multiple Business Technology teams make sure the business can keep up. Someone who combines technical depth with a sharp eye for the business and knows how to turn a platform into real value. The role

As ServiceNow Solution Architect, you carry full responsibility for the ServiceNow architecture and keep the platform fit for use and fit for purpose. You translate business requirements into technical solutions that make full use of ServiceNow's capabilities, and you design and oversee their implementation. You set and enforce the standards, supported by the architectural diagrams, integration mappings and platform roadmaps you develop and maintain.

You work closely with stakeholders across the organization to make sure changes align with business objectives and are executed in a controlled, efficient way. Together with the ServiceNow Product Owner, the Domain Architect and business process owners, you identify process improvements and bring them to life. You also take a critical look at the team's own way of working and make it more efficient wherever possible.

That gives you a crucial role within a challenging, fast-growing IT organization. You drive continuous improvement, always with one goal in mind: better service and a better customer experience. At the same time, you provide technical leadership to the team, mentoring your teammates and helping them grow along with the platform.

Your profile

Improvement is what drives you. You love finding smarter ways to deliver and improve IT services, combining technical and functional knowledge with a healthy dose of pragmatism. You bring 7+ years of IT experience, including at least 4 years in ServiceNow platform architecture and development. You have extensive experience with multiple modules such as ITSM, CSM and CMDB, and you've integrated ServiceNow with third-party systems like Azure AD, Jira and SCCM.

As a self-starter, you manage priorities efficiently and don't hesitate to take the lead when it comes to delivering tangible results. You combine strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset and connect easily with people at every level of the organization. Clear communication, solid documentation and stakeholder management come naturally to you.
