Job summary

GeekSoft Consulting is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, build and continuously improve the client's online platform. You will implement CMDB solutions, build integrations using REST, SOAP, and IntegrationHub, and ensure data quality and security.

Join a collaborative team in Amsterdam, focusing on resilience, performance tuning and rapid CMDB delivery while aligning with governance and process requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong ServiceNow development experience across platform configuration and custom development.
• Hands-on CMDB development, CI classes, data loads, transform logic, and related workflows.
• Experience building ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and scripted APIs.
• Experience with ServiceNow security, including ACLs, roles, groups, access controls, and domain separation.
• Strong JavaScript scripting skills within ServiceNow.
• Experience troubleshooting integration issues, data mismatches, transformation errors, and platform-related issues.
• Good understanding of CMDB data quality principles and CI lifecycle management.
• Ability to translate architecture and process requirements into effective configurations and deployable solutions.
• Configure and develop ServiceNow capabilities supporting Tech Hub’s CMDB implementation.
• Build and support integrations between ServiceNow and Flexera for asset and license data ingestion.
• Build and support integrations between ServiceNow and NetBox for infrastructure, network, and OT asset data ingestion.
• Configure Import Sets, Transform Maps, scheduled jobs, APIs, and Business Rules as required.
• Implement CI creation and update logic, reconciliation processes, and data handling in line with architectural standards.
• Configure access rights, roles, and required platform separation controls.
• Develop and test technical components supporting rapid CMDB delivery and quick-win initiatives.
• Support defect resolution, testing, deployment, and platform stabilization activities.
• Collaborate with architects and process consultants to ensure technical solutions align with governance and process requirements.
• Document technical designs, integration logic, error handling, and support procedures.
• Assist with performance tuning, operational handover, and post-go-live support.
