GeekSoft Consulting in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is seeking a ServiceNow CMDB Governance & Process Improvement Specialist on a fixed-term contract. You will design, implement and continuously improve CMDB governance and data quality controls to support IT service delivery.

The role requires ITIL v4 knowledge and hands-on ServiceNow expertise in process administration, reporting and governance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to raise data quality and process maturity.

Qualifications

• Responsible for establishing and maintaining governance, documentation and CMDB data quality.
• Develop, maintain and improve operational procedures and work instructions.
• Create and manage governance records, SOPs and L5 procedures.
• Maintain knowledge articles and operational documentation.
• Define and monitor CMDB data quality metrics and drive improvements.
• Lead initiatives to improve CMDB completeness and accuracy.
• Support governance reviews, audits and compliance assessments.
• Document and optimize ServiceNow and Plan-on workflows and processes.
• Support KPI reporting and dashboard development.

Requirements

• Responsible for establishing and maintaining operational governance, process documentation, CMDB data quality controls, and continuous service improvement initiatives supporting OT service delivery. Ensures processes are standardized, documented, auditable, and aligned with organizational governance requirements while improving CMDB completeness and accuracy.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve operational procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Create and manage L5 documentation, SOPs, governance records, and operational process artifacts.
• Maintain process repositories, knowledge articles, and operational documentation.
• Define and monitor CMDB data quality metrics and implement improvement plans.
• Lead initiatives to improve CMDB completeness, accuracy, and data quality.
• Support governance reviews, audits, and compliance assessments.
