Job summary

ITproposal B.V. is seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB & Integration Developer to advance the CMDB implementation and data ingestion pipelines in Amsterdam. You will hands-on develop CI classes, build data loads, and implement integrations across REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, and Transform Maps.

Collaborating with architects and process consultants, you will ensure governance-aligned workflows and CMDB data quality while delivering quick-wins and long-term stability.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong CMDB development, CI classes, data loads and transform logic.
• Proven integration experience using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, Import Sets, Transform Maps, scripted APIs.
• Strong JavaScript scripting capability within ServiceNow.
• Experience with ACLs, roles, groups, and domain separation.
• Understanding of CMDB data quality principles and CI lifecycle management.
• Ability to convert architecture/process requirements into working configurations.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB & Integration Developer to support the Tech Hub's CMDB implementation and associated data ingestion pipelines. This role focuses on hands‑on platform development, CI class configuration, integration build‑out, and ensuring high‑quality CMDB data through structured transformation logic and governance‑aligned workflows.

You will work closely with architects and process consultants to translate design requirements into deployable technical solutions, supporting both quick‑win delivery and long‑term CMDB stability.

Key Responsibilities

CMDB Development & Configuration

• Configure CI classes, attributes, relationships, and lifecycle logic.

• Build data loads, transform logic, reconciliation support, and CI update rules.

• Implement workflows, business rules, and platform components required for CMDB maturity.

Integration Build & Support

• Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, Import Sets, Transform Maps, scripted APIs.

• Build and maintain ingestion flows from Flexera (asset/license data) and NetBox (infrastructure, network, OT assets).

• Troubleshoot integration issues, data mismatches, transformation errors, and ingestion failures.

Platform Security & Access Controls

• Configure ACLs, roles, groups, and domain separation considerations.

• Support setup of rights structures aligned with governance and compliance requirements.

Delivery, Testing & Stabilization

• Develop and test components required for quick‑win CMDB delivery.

• Support defect resolution, deployment cycles, and post‑go‑live stabilization.

• Assist with performance tuning and operational handover.

Documentation & Collaboration

• Document technical designs, integration logic, error handling, and support procedures.

• Work closely with architects and process consultants to ensure alignment with standards and governance.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–10 years of ServiceNow development experience.
