Job summary

Element Logic is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair state-of-the-art automated warehouse systems, notably AutoStore. The role involves travel, on-site commissioning, firmware/software updates, and live testing during handovers.

You will report daily via computer, plan field work, and coordinate with customers while prioritising customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates have a strong mechanical/electrical background, service experience, and flexibility in working hours

• Perform corrective maintenance and complete software/firmware updates.
• Support commissioning of new installations and conduct live testing.
• Contribute to delivery handover processes.
• Troubleshoot and guide customers in operating Element Logic systems.

Job description

Join Element Logic as a Service Technician and play a key role in the maintenance, repair, and commissioning of state-of-the-art automated warehouse systems!

As a Service Technicia n, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment delivered by Element Logic, primarily AutoStore systems and related solutions.

In addition to scheduled maintenance, you will perform corrective maintenance, complete software and firmware updates, support the commissioning of new installations, and conduct live testing as part of the delivery handover process.

Key requirements

• Willingness to travel for approximately 80% of working time.
• Strong interest in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
• Proficient in using a computer daily for reporting, planning, and communication.
• Ability to plan work efficiently and coordinate customer schedules, including agreed service time windows.
• Previous experience in a service-related role is considered a strong advantage.
• Experience with material handling equipment is considered a strong advantage.
• Availability to work between 06:00 and 22:00.

Language requirements

• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Proficiency in Dutch is preferred.

• Able to explain the purpose and importance of Element Logic’s services to customers on site.
• Open-minded and adaptable.
• Enjoys troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Place of work:

Hybrid role with regular travel to customer sites acrossthe Netherlands and Belgium, primarily serving customers in the southern Netherlands and throughout Belgium. The successful candidate will be attached to ourBemmel office

Work format:

Flexible travel-based role. Some weeks may involve customer visits throughout the week with hotel stays, while others may only require day trips. Work-life balance is important, and flexibility can be accommodated based on personal circumstances
