Field Service Technician – Warehouse Automation (Travel 80%)

Job summary

Element Logic is seeking a Service Technician to maintain, repair and commission cutting-edge automated warehouse systems, primarily AutoStore. You will perform scheduled and corrective maintenance, update software/firmware, and support the commissioning of new installations with hands-on testing during handover.

The role requires extensive travel across the Netherlands and Belgium, a hybrid work setup attached to the Bemmel office, and flexibility in working hours to 22:00.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel for ~80% of time.
• Strong interest in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues.
• Proficient in using a computer daily for reporting, planning and communication.
• Ability to plan work efficiently and coordinate customer schedules, including service windows.
• Previous experience in a service-related role is advantageous.
• Experience with material handling equipment is advantageous.
• Availability to work between 06:00 and 22:00.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and commission state-of-the-art automated warehouse systems (AutoStore).
• Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Complete software and firmware updates.
• Support commissioning of new installations.
• Conduct live testing as part of delivery handover process.
