Vanderlande in the Netherlands seeks a hands-on Service Technician to support DHL Zaltbommel in a 5-shift, highly automated environment. You will perform electrical, instrument, mechanical, and control system maintenance, lead a shift team, and coordinate activities to keep operations running smoothly.
You will troubleshoot malfunctions, implement improvements, and act as the point of contact for the customer and Global Service Desk during escalations.

As a Service Technician at DHL Zaltbommel, you will play a key role in ensuring maximum system availability while supporting the development of both the operation and your team.
As a Service Technician, you will ensure that daily duties and activities within your shift/team are carried out safely and effectively, minimizing any impact on the customer’s operations. You will act with accountability and confidence in making decisions. This hands-on role involves working within your assigned 5-shift pattern on electrical, instrument, mechanical, and control systems, including installation, modification, maintenance, and repairs. You should have clear communication skills and the ability to make technical decisions. You will also take on a coordinating role, fostering team spirit and creating a safe work environment. Additionally, you will be the single point of contact for our customer DHL and the Vanderlande Global Service desk during technical malfunctions and escalations.
DHL Zaltbommel is a modern, highly automated distribution center equipped with state-of-the-art Vanderlande systems. As a site-based Service Technician, you are close to the operation and play a crucial role in keeping the process running smoothly. This position offers a competitive salary range of €3,400 to €4,800 gross per month, excluding 30% shift allowance and 8% holiday allowance.
