Job summary

Boston Scientific in Kerkrade is seeking a detail-oriented Service Support Specialist to coordinate and support capital equipment installations and upgrades across the EMEA region. Qualifications

• MBO level or equivalent education is expected.
• Experience in technical, logistics, or customer-oriented environments is advantageous.
• Knowledge of SAP is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support capital equipment installations and upgrades.
• Manage installation/service programs for new product launches and evaluations.
• Serve as main point of contact within service for standard installations/upgrades questions.
• Oversee demonstration equipment pools for congresses/training/events.
• Create and manage service cases in the global service management system.
• Maintain install base data and coordinate installation/upgrade orders.
• Coordinate logistics processes related to equipment and parts.
• Ensure accurate administrative processing of service activities.

Would you like to play an important role within an international organization that develops medical technology that improves lives? Boston Scientific in Kerkrade is looking for a detail-oriented and solution-focused Service Support Specialist. Initially, the assignment runs until January 2027, with the possibility of an extension through June 2027. Keep on reading! As a Service Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the preparation, coordination, and support of capital equipment installations and upgrades throughout the EMEA region. You will work closely with colleagues from service, sales, marketing, technical support, and logistics teams.

Your responsibilities include

• Managing standardized installation and service programs for new product launches, upgrades, and evaluations
• Supporting the preparation and execution of medical equipment installations
• Acting as the main point of contact within the service organization for questions regarding standard installations and upgrades
• Managing demonstration equipment pools for congresses, training sessions, and other events
• Creating, managing, and closing service cases within the global service management system
• Maintaining and monitoring install base data
• Creating, releasing, or requesting orders for installations and upgrades
• Coordinating and monitoring logistics processes related to equipment and parts
• Ensuring accurate administrative processing of service activities

Working hours

Working hours are Monday through Friday between 8:00 and 18:00.

• MBO working and thinking level
• Preferably a technical and/or logistics-related educational background
• Experience within a technical, logistics, sales, or customer-oriented environment is considered an advantage
• Strong organizational skills and a structured way of working
• Solution-oriented mindset combined with effective communication skills
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Experience with SAP is an advantage
