Job summary

Syntegon Packaging Solutions B.V., based in Weert, is leading service portfolio strategy for the FDV business unit. You will own lifecycle management, develop new service products, and ensure successful go-to-market in collaboration with sales, service, and marketing teams.

Your role focuses on translating customer needs into portfolio improvements, monitoring performance, and prioritizing R&D to stay ahead of market trends in a global setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, service portfolio management, aftermarket management, or a related role in industrial equipment or packaging machinery.
• Strong understanding of service business models, installed base management, and lifecycle management.
• Experience translating customer needs and market insights into successful products, solutions, or services.
• Strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration in an international environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the service portfolio from concept to launch to retirement, including value proposition, business cases, lifecycle planning, monitoring, and rationalization.
• Analyze installed base data to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps supporting portfolio decisions and campaigns.
• Facilitate the service strategy process for the FDV business unit, ensuring alignment with market needs and goals.
• Lead development and launches of new service products, solutions, and campaigns with sales, service, and marketing.
• Translate customer feedback into portfolio improvements, innovation priorities, and service concepts.
• Define and prioritize service-related R&D needs and translate into roadmap requirements.
• Monitor market developments, customer trends, and competitor activities to inform portfolio decisions.
• Collaborate with after-sales, sales, technical support, field service, R&D, and marketing for alignment.
• Support portfolio visibility, customer engagement, and sales effectiveness with Marketing.
