Job summary

Syntegon Packaging Solutions B.V. in Weert seeks a strategic portfolio leader to own the FDV service portfolio from concept to retirement, driving value propositions and lifecycle management.

You will collaborate with after-sales, sales, R&D, and marketing to develop and launch new service products, analyze installed base data, and translate customer needs into actionable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, service portfolio management, aftermarket management, or related role in industrial equipment or packaging machinery.
• Strong understanding of service business models, installed base management, and lifecycle management.
• Experience translating customer needs and market insights into successful products, solutions, or services.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use installed base and market data to drive decisions and identify growth opportunities.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with service, sales, R&D, and marketing teams.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders in an international environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English; German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits, market analysis, and internal collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the service portfolio from concept to launch to retirement, including value proposition definition and lifecycle planning.
• Lead the development and launch of new service products, solutions, and campaigns with sales, service, and marketing teams.
• Gather and translate customer needs and feedback into portfolio improvements and priorities.
• Define and prioritize service-related development needs for the R&D roadmap.
• Monitor market developments and competitive insights to inform portfolio strategy.
• Collaborate across after-sales, sales, technical support, field service, R&D, and marketing to align portfolio priorities.
• Track portfolio performance, adoption, and profitability to optimize offerings.
