Job summary

Rituals is seeking a Senior Casemanager to lead workability, absence management and reintegration for Head Office employees in Amsterdam. You will guide managers, HR stakeholders and the organisation on health, wellbeing and compliant case handling.

You will combine strategic leadership with operational excellence, oversee complex cases, analyse workforce trends, and partner with Occupational Health and external experts to embed proactive absence management across the employee experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in workability, absence management or related HR fields.
• Deep knowledge of Dutch employment law related to absence and reintegration, including Wet verbetering poortwachter.
• Proven ability to advise senior stakeholders on complex absence and reintegration matters.
• Strong analytical skills to translate workforce data into strategic insights.
• Experience driving governance frameworks and organisational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the Head Office approach to workability, absence management and sustainable employability.
• Advise HR leadership, HR Business Partners and managers on complex and sensitive cases.
• Lead and oversee complex workability and absence cases, ensuring sustainable, compliant solutions.
• Analyse absence trends and workforce health insights, translating data into strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with Occupational Health providers, UWV and external stakeholders to ensure effective case management and compliance.
• Design tools, frameworks and training that strengthen leadership capability in managing health and absence topics.
