Job summary

GXO Logistics in Lelystad is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations and develop a high-performing team. You will drive performance targets, safety, and continuous improvement while delivering strong results for customers in a global logistics setting.

You will manage staffing, coach staff, implement Lean practices, and ensure accurate reporting. This role offers exposure to an international environment and opportunities for growth within GXO University.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams within a logistics or warehousing environment.
• Hands-on coaching, performance management and staff development.
• Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong English and Dutch written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure targets are met.
• Lead, coach and develop team members; foster a positive culture.
• Assign tasks, monitor completion, ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage employee relations and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Plan staffing and scheduling to meet demand; adjust as required.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean and quality processes.
• Ensure safe working environment and compliance with standards.
• Maintain accurate operational reports and process documentation.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
