Job summary

GXO Logistics is hiring a Warehouse Manager in Lelystad to lead daily warehouse operations, nurture a high-performing team and drive safety, efficiency and continuous improvement. You will work in a dynamic, international environment within a global logistics organization.

You will develop your team, manage staffing, monitor performance, and liaise with customers to meet service levels. Proactive coaching and strong collaboration across functions are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar warehousing leadership role.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Knowledge of Lean principles is advantageous.
• Strong written and spoken English and Dutch.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations to meet performance targets.
• Lead, coach and develop team members through training and performance reviews.
• Assign tasks and monitor completion for accuracy and efficiency.
• Handle employee relations and disciplinary actions where needed.
• Plan staffing and scheduling to meet demand and maintain safety.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, quality, and cost-control initiatives.
• Ensure customer metrics, quality and responsiveness are achieved.
• Maintain a safe workplace and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Produce operational reports and maintain process documentation.
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
