Job summary

VIA Logistics Professionals is recruiting a Sr. Automation Engineer to drive end-to-end warehouse automation projects in a large-scale logistics setting.

You will translate operational challenges into smart automation solutions and coordinate with operations, customers, suppliers and senior management. You join a team of automation engineers and data scientists handling ~30 active projects across the EMEA region, delivering impact through business cases, financial modelling and rigorous project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Operations, Technology or Business Administration.
• At least 3 years of experience with project ownership and responsibility.
• Experience with automation projects in contract logistics or a 3PL environment.
• Strong analytical capabilities and experience with business cases and financial modelling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate warehouse automation concepts and solutions.
• Coordinate RFQ processes and supplier selection activities.
• Build and present business cases, including costs, benefits and risk assessments.
• Support contract negotiations with procurement and legal teams.
• Lead the implementation and go live phases of automation projects.
• Manage project planning, stakeholders and dependencies.
• Translate data, analyses and scenarios into clear business insights.
• Work simultaneously on multiple complex projects.
