DeltaQuad is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to take payloads and components from concept through to flight-ready integration for our UAVs. You will own each integration end-to-end, coordinating with mechanical, electrical, and software teams, and working closely with suppliers to meet requirements and timelines.

The role involves market and capability assessment, defining detailed requirements, and ensuring seamless connection to the ground control station.

Responsabilidades

• Define requirements across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines in collaboration with engineers.
• Coordinate with suppliers and partners to ensure timely delivery and alignment with the ground control station integration.
• Connect payload integrations to the ground control software and PX4-based systems.

As a Systems Integration Engineer, you take new payloads and components from concept to a working part of our UAVs, end to end.

On a mission

DeltaQuad develops advanced VTOL UAV systems for defense, public safety, and commercial operators worldwide. Demand is growing fast, and so is the number of parallel developments we run. That is why we are building an organization that can scale with it.

The role

Every new capability on our aircraft starts with an integration: a new radio, a camera or lidar payload, or a heated pitot tube that keeps measuring airspeed in the rain. You are the engineer who makes it happen, and you own each integration from start to finish.

It starts with understanding the problem: what do we need, and why? You explore the market, assess what is available, and dig into the suppliers behind it. How long have they been around, how much can they deliver, and what does that mean for the price? Then you define the requirements together with our electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, from power supply and CAD design to dimensions, weight, and center of gravity. You also work with our software partner to connect each integration to the ground control station.

You stand for your integration. When a partner or supplier has other priorities, you keep them on track, make sure it gets done, and think through the product's full lifecycle. In many ways, you are a Program Manager for one specific subject within our new Engineering department.

What you bring

You are a systems engineer who has taken integrations from start to finish and knows every step. You combine technical breadth across mechanics, electronics, and software with the assertiveness to hold suppliers and partners to their commitments. You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, or a related field. You also bring:

• Around 4 or more years of experience integrating hardware components into complex products

• A track record of owning integrations end-to-end, from market research to a validated, working solution

• Experience defining requirements across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines

• Experience assessing and managing suppliers and external partners

• Professional proficiency in English

Nice to have

Experience with UAVs, aerospace, defense, or robotics. Knowledge of payloads such as cameras, radios, or lidar, and familiarity with PX4-based systems and ground control software, is a plus.
