Job summary

DeltaQuad in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to own the architecture, development and integration of electronic hardware for UAV platforms. You will work with Mechanical, Embedded Software, Systems Engineering and Production to translate requirements into reliable, manufacturable designs.

This role goes beyond hardware design, coordinating suppliers, driving design-for-manufacturing and ensuring ambitious projects stay on schedule and within specification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics.
• Several years of experience developing complex electronic products.
• Proven ability to design complete electronic systems, from requirements through production.
• Experience with PCB architecture, schematic design and multi-layer PCB development.
• Experience working with Embedded Systems.
• Good understanding of RF electronics and communication systems.
• Experience working with external suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable coordinating multiple technical workstreams simultaneously.
• Hands-on mentality and able to move between concept development and production support.
• Fluent in English.

DeltaQuad develops advanced VTOL UAV systems for defence, public safety and commercial operators worldwide. Our multidisciplinary R&D team develops reliable products that operate in some of the world's most demanding environments.

As our products continue to evolve, we're looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer who enjoys taking ownership of complex electronic systems from concept through production.

The role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for the architecture, development and integration of electronic hardware across our UAV platforms. You'll work closely with Mechanical Engineering, Embedded Software, Systems Engineering and Production to translate product requirements into reliable, manufacturable designs.

This is not purely a hardware design role. You'll also work directly with suppliers, coordinate technical development activities and ensure electronic subsystems are delivered on time, within specification and ready for production.

We're looking for someone who has experience developing highly integrated electronic products. Think of the complexity behind designing a smartphone: combining processors, power management, RF communication, sensors, high-speed interfaces and embedded hardware into one reliable, production-ready product.
