Job summary

Via Logistics in Venray is seeking a Senior Transport Coordinator to oversee international transport operations, optimize routes, and ensure reliable delivery. You will work with carriers, warehouses, customers and internal teams to drive performance and cost efficiency.

The role combines hands-on coordination with process improvement, stakeholder management and project work. You report to the Procurement & Transportation Manager and contribute to continuous improvements in routing, capacity

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in transport, logistics or supply chain management.
• Experience with carrier management and contract negotiations.
• Proficiency in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily transport activities and on-time delivery.
• Manage capacity, schedules and operational exceptions.
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers and logistics partners.
• Analyse transport costs and performance data to identify improvements.
• Support RFQs and assess transportation solutions for customers.
