Job summary

Infinity Quest Limited in Den Bosch is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to help build and maintain a stable payment chain relied upon by millions of customers. You will drive test automation strategies and end-to-end testing within the PE Banking Delivery.

You will automate test cases, maintain data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability of debit payments, cash withdrawals, balance checks, and online shopping. Strong TDD/BDD and scripting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HBO/WO level in software engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in software testing and TDD/BDD.
• Proficient in configuring test frameworks for end-to-end, system, and functional testing.
• Experience with Jenkins pipelines.
• Programming automated tests in Python, Java, or TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• You will work as a Senior Test Automation Engineer within PE Banking Delivery, contributing to the stability of the payment chain.
• Automate test cases and maintain existing test cases, including the required test data.
• Take initiative in defining and implementing the Test Automation Strategy and end-to-end testing activities.

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer at Client in Den Bosch, you will help build and maintain a stable payment chain that millions of customers rely on every day.

What will you do?

• You will work as a Senior Test Automation Engineer within PE Banking Delivery, contributing to the stability of the payment chain.
• Using your test automation expertise and fresh perspective, you will help ensure that customers can reliably:
• Pay using their debit card or phone
• Withdraw money
• Check their account balance
• Shop online
• Automate test cases and maintain existing test cases, including the required test data.
• Make test automation an active part of the Definition of Done and implement and continuously improve the Test Automation Strategy.
• Take the initiative in working with other teams and external parties on end-to-end testing, align test results and follow up on findings.
• Contribute ideas for new functionality and smarter approaches to carrying out necessary maintenance.
• Translate complex technical topics into clear information for both business and IT colleagues.

Required experience

• HBO/WO level of education and professional capability, preferably with a qualification in Software Engineering.
• Extensive experience in software testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience setting up test frameworks for:
• End-to-end/chain testing
• System testing
• Functional testing
• Experience with Jenkins pipelines.
• Demonstrable experience programming automated tests, preferably using:
• Python
• Java
• TypeScript
• Experience with tools such as:
• Postman
• Locust
• WebdriverIO
• Selenium

Knowledge of UNIX, SQL or Git is considered an advantage
