Qualifications
- Several years of experience as a software engineer with a strong full-stack background.
- Excellent TypeScript skills with React and PostgreSQL.
- Experience acting as a technical lead or owning engineering direction.
- Strong architectural judgement and production systems experience.
- Ability to mentor and develop engineers.
- Excellent communication and decision-explanation skills.
Responsibilities
- Set the technical direction and make key engineering decisions.
- Guide and support a team of senior engineers.
- Stay hands-on with the codebase and contribute weekly.
- Improve engineering quality, processes, and standards.
- Review technical solutions and architecture.
- Coach engineers through regular feedback and development conversations.
- Collaborate with Product and Delivery to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Help build a strong, collaborative engineering team.
