Qualifications

• For a position as Engineering Manager, a university education (WO) is required, preferably a technical degree such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Industrial Design.
• As preparation for university, it's best to choose the VWO profile Science & Technology (N&T), where mathematics and physics are essential subjects.
• Many Engineering Managers later strengthen their technical background with an MBA or management education to develop their leadership skills.

• Direct and guide engineering teams, coordinating daily operations and ensuring optimal collaboration between departments.
• Plan and prioritize projects, develop technical strategies, and maintain quality standards.
