DeltaQuad, a Netherlands-based UAV developer, is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to bring new payloads and components from concept to a working part of our aircraft. You own each integration end-to-end, coordinating with electrical, mechanical, and software teams and aligning with ground control software.
You will evaluate market options, manage suppliers, define requirements, and drive the full lifecycle, ensuring flight-ready payloads with reliable performance and on-time delivery.
As a Systems Integration Engineer, you take new payloads and components from concept to a working part of our UAVs, end to end.
DeltaQuad develops advanced VTOL UAV systems for defense, public safety, and commercial operators worldwide. Demand is growing fast, and so is the number of parallel developments we run. That is why we are building an organization that can scale with it.
Every new capability on our aircraft starts with an integration: a new radio, a camera or lidar payload, or a heated pitot tube that keeps measuring airspeed in the rain. You are the engineer who makes it happen, and you own each integration from start to finish.
It starts with understanding the problem: what do we need, and why? You explore the market, assess what is available, and dig into the suppliers behind it. How long have they been around, how much can they deliver, and what does that mean for the price? Then you define the requirements together with our electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, from power supply and CAD design to dimensions, weight, and center of gravity. You also work with our software partner to connect each integration to the ground control station.
You stand for your integration. When a partner or supplier has other priorities, you keep them on track, make sure it gets done, and think through the product's full lifecycle. In many ways, you are a Program Manager for one specific subject within our new Engineering department.
You are a systems engineer who has taken integrations from start to finish and knows every step. You combine technical breadth across mechanics, electronics, and software with the assertiveness to hold suppliers and partners to their commitments. You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, or a related field. You also bring:
Experience with UAVs, aerospace, defense, or robotics. Knowledge of payloads such as cameras, radios, or lidar, and familiarity with PX4-based systems and ground control software, is a plus.
New payloads and components go from request to flight-ready integration without surprises. Suppliers deliver what they promise, every discipline knows what is expected of them, and our customers get capabilities they can rely on.
Please note: As part of our recruitment process, we may request a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and conduct a background screening in accordance with our screening policy.
