DeltaQuad, based in the Netherlands, seeks a Senior Engineering Program Manager to take technical ownership of multiple UAV development programs from concept to series production.
You will lead a cross-disciplinary team of mechanical, electrical, software and systems engineers, guiding each project through stage gates and verified requirements while coordinating with the Head of Engineering. This role demands hands-on leadership and strategic portfolio management.
As a Senior Engineering Program Manager, you take the technical lead on new developments and turn them into products we can build at scale.
On a mission
DeltaQuad develops advanced VTOL UAV systems for defense, public safety, and commercial operators worldwide. Demand is growing fast, and so is the number of developments we run in parallel. That is why we are building an organization that can scale with it.
The role
You are an experienced engineer, experienced in the field of program management, and seek full ownership of a development: technically and organizationally, from requirements to series production.
Within our Engineering department, you manage a portfolio of multiple parallel programs. You turn prototypes and R&D concepts into products that are reliable, repeatable, and ready for production at scale. To get there, you lead a multidisciplinary team of mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineers, and you make the technical trade-offs together with them.
You are tech lead and project manager in one. You take every program through our stage-gate process, make sure each requirement is verified before it moves on, and keep our Head of Engineering informed. This role is key to how we grow: our ambition is to run 10 to 20 developments at the same time, and that only works with Program Managers who truly own their portfolio.
What you bring
You have built your career in technical product development, and you know what it takes to bring a new product into production. You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or a related field, and you combine engineering depth with a structured way of working. You also bring:
Nice to have
Experience with UAVs, aerospace, defense, automotive or other high-tech hardware with strict quality requirements.
What success looks like
Your programs move through their gates on schedule and land in production without surprises. Engineers know where they stand, and new developments no longer wait for one person to have time.
What we offer
Please note: As part of our recruitment process, we may request a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and conduct a background screening in accordance with our screening policy.
