Job summary

BlueHeart Energy is seeking a Senior System Engineer (Thermoacoustic Heat Pump Systems) to translate customer and product needs into clear system requirements and engineering solutions.

You will drive requirements management, verification and validation, and risk management across the product lifecycle, collaborating with a cross-functional team to deliver a compliant, efficient heat pump system.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Mechanical/Systems/Mechatronics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in complex product development.
• Domain expertise in thermodynamics, heat transfer, energy systems or control systems.
• System architecture definition and functional decomposition.
• Experience with requirements management and configuration management.
• FMEA and risk management experience.
• Verification and validation planning and execution.
• Familiarity with MBSE methodologies and architecture management.

Responsibilities

• Define and document system architectures and functional decomposition.
• Build system models to analyze behavior and validate requirements.
• Lead integration strategy for full system functionality and performance.
• Lead FMEA and risk assessment with Product Owners to manage risks.
• Perform trade-off analyses and verify design decisions impact on system.
• Lead requirements and configuration management, ensuring traceability.
• Develop verification strategies and oversee integration testing and compliance.
