BlueHeart Energy is seeking a Mechanical FEA Engineer to optimize design for production through mechanical simulations of their innovative heat pump. The role involves collaborating with component owners and conducting analyses of materials.
Applicants should have a Master's in Mechanical or Material Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience in FEA. The company offers a hybrid work arrangement, salary ranging from €5,200 to €6,200 gross monthly, and opportunities for personal and professional development.
BlueHeart Energy was founded in 2016 as a deep-tech company that has developed a new sustainable thermoacoustics technology to radically improve the performance of heat pumps, enabling them to evolve from being the best solution in the market to becoming the perfect solution. Our technology is a disruptive approach to generate heat and cold, with potential to revolutionize the whole industry.
With our so called 'Blue Heart' inside, heat pumps turn into affordable, silent and flexible devices, capable of working with wide temperature ranges suitable for both new and existing houses. Importantly, BlueHeart doesn’t require any refrigerants and doesn’t generate any CO2e emissions.
As a Mechanical FEA Engineer, you will be responsible for performing mechanical analysis of the BlueHeart Energy heat pump. With the first prototype currently in production, your work will focus on optimizing the design for mass production using FEM software (ANSYS, Marc Mentat, Abaqus…).
Before this role was established, all mechanical simulations were outsourced. Today, you act as the internal consultant, working closely with component owners to define criteria, interpret results, set priorities, and align deadlines. Your input is essential to the design process and product evolution.
