Job summary

ALARA, based in Groot-Ammers, Netherlands, seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to oversee and integrate mechanical, electrical, and structural subsystems within industrial solutions. You will translate client requirements into technical specifications and ensure overall system coherence.

You will work closely with other disciplines, engage with clients and suppliers, and contribute to standardization and professionalization of the engineering organization. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level, mechanical engineering background required.
• Extensive experience in project environments.
• Knowledge of fuel, lubricating oil, cooling and exhaust, and ventilation systems.
• Ability to write technical specifications and provide RFQ input.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the container system and interaction of all disciplines.
• Define and manage scope boundaries with ALARA, clients, and suppliers.
• Prepare technical specifications and contribute to RFQs to procurement.
• Engage in technical discussions with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Support engineering, supply chain and installation phases with quality checks.
• Contribute to standardization of systems and ways of working at ALARA.
