Job summary

ALTEN is seeking a System Architect for our Netherlands offices in Eindhoven, Capelle aan den IJssel, and Apeldoorn. You will lead architectural design for complex systems, driving MBSE practices and technical leadership across engineering teams.

You will model and validate architectures, manage requirements traceability, define interfaces, and guide trade-off analyses to meet performance, cost, and schedule goals.

Qualifications

• 7–12+ years of system architecture/technical leadership experience.
• Proficiency in SysML and MBSE/system modeling.
• Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS, Polarion).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain architectures (functional, logical, physical) aligned with requirements.
• Allocate and trace system requirements across design levels.
• Define and document system interfaces for seamless integration.
