ALARA is based in Groot-Ammers and has its own production facility of approximately 20,000 m². As a specialist in “mastering noise and engineering silence,” around 140 colleagues work on a wide range of projects both nationally and internationally.
They take pride in delivering projects from consultancy and engineering through to production and installation. At ALARA, complete tailor-made solutions are realized. Their solutions include sound-insulating enclosures, containers, noise-reducing ventilation systems for large data centers, acoustic doors, and silencers.
As a Lead Systems Engineer, you are responsible for overseeing, connecting, and integrating all technical systems within ALARA’s industrial solutions. You act as the technical focal point between disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering, ensuring that all subsystems come together into a well-functioning overall concept.
You are involved in projects from an early stage and play a key role in assessing customer requirements, technical feasibility, and system architecture. You translate client specifications into clear technical requirements and safeguard the coherence between systems such as fuel, lubrication, cooling, ventilation, and exhaust.
In this role, you take a high-level view of the entire system: how components interact, how the system behaves under different conditions, and how to ensure safety, reliability, and performance. You work closely with other specialists and make an important contribution to standardization and the further professionalization of the engineering organization.
