Job summary

AeroVect is advancing ground handling with autonomous systems and safety-driven software/hardware platforms. The Senior Safety Engineer will execute core safety lifecycle tasks across systems, deriving safety requirements and performing hardware safety analyses.

You will collaborate with systems, software, robotics, hardware, and test teams to ensure safety requirements are integrated, tested, and verified for airport deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on safety engineering in autonomous systems or related fields.
• Experience applying ISO 26262, DO-178C/DO-254 or IEC 61508 safety standards.
• Proven ability to derive safety requirements and perform hardware safety analyses.

Responsibilities

• Execute core safety lifecycle tasks across AeroVect's platforms.
• Perform quantitative hardware safety analyses (FMEDA, PMHF, diagnostic coverage).
• Calculate and assess failure rates for hardware components and systems.
• Derive hardware safety requirements for redundant and fail-operational architectures.
