Job summary

TSMG is seeking a Senior Autonomous Vehicle Technician to maintain electric and autonomous vehicles used in robotaxi fleet operations across Europe. You will diagnose, repair, and validate systems, ensuring high availability for daily deployment and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years hands-on automotive technician experience.
• Strong diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair skills.
• Good understanding of electrical/electronic vehicle systems.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and service software.
• Ability to follow strict procedures and safety protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work in shift-based operations (evenings/weekends/24/7).
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electric and autonomous vehicles used in robotaxi fleet operations.
• Ensure vehicles are ready for daily deployment, testing, and commercial operations.
• Conduct detailed inspections to support fleet readiness and safety.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software issues.
• Escalate complex issues to engineering with clear documentation.
• Perform advanced diagnostics on EV platforms, ADAS, and autonomy hardware.
• Use OEM tools and procedures to identify root causes of faults.
• Validate repairs and maintenance to ensure safety and uptime.
• Maintain accurate service records and diagnostic reports.
• Lead shifts when required and mentor junior technicians.
• Support continuous improvement of depot operations and maintenance processes.
